He completed his bachelor's degree in science with honours in Zoology from Tej Narayan Banaily mahavidyalay, Bhagalpur (T.N.B. college) and master degree in Zoology from Post graduate department of Zoology from Tilkamanjhi Bhagalpur University, Bhagalpur. He secured first position in the university in Master for which he was awarded the gold medal.he got 66th position in all over india in national eligibility test conducted by the counsil of scientific and industrial research(CSIR).
